Little Magazines are the principal media to publish articles on local and contemporary social events of the district of Medinipur. This paper tries to evaluate the magazines as the source of scholarly information on different branches of Social Sciences. It also examines the exclusiveness as well as the exhaustiveness of the published information. The paper concludes with the comments that the volatile and short-lived publications should be archived with care and the information lying scattered there should be indexed properly.en_US
